39 of our CIC DECA members competed at Regionals against 1831 other students from the local area in various events such Entrepreneurship Individual Series, Accounting Applications Series, Apparel and Accessories Marketing Series, Business Law and Ethics Team Decision Making, Hotel and Lodging Management Series, Human Resources Management Series, and many more!
For 6 weeks members have been learning the art of DECA role plays and how to best represent their scenario solution.
This year we had six students qualify to proceed onto the Provincials competition in February 2024!
Nikita Marchenko (CIC DECA President) achieved top 10 overall in the Entrepreneurship Individual Series event and Ziu Cai on achieving top 10 overall in the Principles of Business Management individual event!
Audrey Hui (CIC DECA Vice President) and Thalia Iskander qualified for the Marketing Management Team Decision Making event, Wole Peters (CIC DECA Vice President) qualified for the Business Finance Series event, and Sze
Hang Ying qualified for the Principles of Business Management individual event.
